My name is David Rhodes and I am the owner of Horizon Business Agents in the UK

I trained as a Chartered Accountant in Southampton about 20 years ago leaving to become a Consultant in the petrol industry. If you owned or ran a petrol station at any time in the 1990’s around Hampshire I may have advised you on the profitability of your Petrol Station.

10 years ago I started my own business as a Business Transfer Agent trading under the name of Lakey & Co operating under license in the Hampshire, Berkshire and Isle of Wight areas. Basically a Business Transfer Agent is an Estate Agent for businesses, I do for businesses what a residential estate agent does for a residential property, help them sell for the best price that can be obtained.

I was frustrated operating within a group so I sold that business and relocated to Suffolk where I started another Business Agency.

Horizon Business Agents is my new agency covering the London, Essex, East Anglia and the South West, Devon etc.

What makes us different is that we are the first business agents in the whole of the country who sell businesses using online virtual tours and video pitches.
